I went through that thought process when I was looking for pads for my 335D. The advantage of yellows for the road is the better response from cold. On track, reds for sure because they are always hot, but after a 100 miles on the motorway in winter I want to slow immediately if the guy in front runs out of talent. Like I said in another thread, they bring my BM down from 140+ without fade or drama so that's all I need really. If I get any fade when I'm out in the Maser with the boys, I'll move up to reds. I'll let you know how I get on.
