4200 cream leather colour match

Hi all I've been bowled over by the warm and instantly helpful welcome to the forum from those left behind from the trip to Modena (jealous and wish i had bought my car a few months sooner so I could have gone too) - what a great forum!
having bought my manual 4200 I am now setting about putting right some wrongs the last owner did, the first being hand painted leather to mask the wear!! The gentleman even offered to tell me the excellent match of "crown" paint he used whilst I picked my jaw up from the floor. Euughhhh.

Anyway my question is whereabouts is it possible to get an exact colour match for the cream leather (this time with leather dye etc ) so I can set about restoring the seats properly this time!
Many thanks.

They are based an hour from me and I dropped off the rear centre armrest so they could colour match a touch up kit.
It's a perfect match and they can do the same via post, if you send a sample.
They do full colour restoration kits as well as the famous liquid leather conditioner.

FYI I used nail varnish remover to take off the old repair paint on my 1st two Maseratis'. The stuff stinks and you need to clean and condition the leather afterwards. ..and wash your hands a dozen times after.

sounds tasty! I've bought some thinners to get the paint off so it's at least back to original tired condition. Then I just need to work out the colour code of 2003 maserati cream / ivory leather! cheers

I use Wollies conolising fluid, brilliant. If they don't have it on file, send them a small bit, I found the panel behind the armrest to have a lot of spare.

Google Woolies Trim.

yes lovely if it's like moz1000 and not mine smothered in crown paint and bristles! can't waIt to get it back from the workshop so I can set about it again - ill order the avorio from liquid leather then - though thanks for the heads up on wollies too - I might try both!
I originally wanted a spyder with blue with tan leather & blue piping but this was cat d price (not on the register though ) and under 70k miles so I couldn't say no !!

Just bringing this thread back to life. Is there anyway to confirm the interior colour of the car without having the original sales invoice?

I'm thinking mine is "Avorio" (did they do another cream?) and from what I've seen liquidleather is the product to go for?

Cheers

That's got to be Avrio (Ivory). There was another, more yellow called, I think Sabbia (sand)

Thanks, I've got little bits of touch up to do :)

It would appear Gliptone ceased trading from what I've read (although the website is operating).

What other company offers color match that owners have used?

Cheers

More of a rebrand, now Liquid Leather I believe.

Not sure of the colour match though

Furniture clinic are good. They do a full Refurb kit that is easy to use. I sent small piece off to them for a colour match. This was on a previous TVR I owned, but I plan to do the same for my Spyder seats.

This is definitely not avorio. Avorio is much brighter
