I don’t have a budget as such, but because it’s not going to get used all that often I didn’t want to spend more than £25k
There seems to be mixed opinions on this matter haha,
Forget you’ve ever driven either, just pretend your in my position, will drive it not very often, I also have a new born son so he will be chilling in the back seats! In my head I want to spend £25k the 4.2 is slightly cheaper the 4.7 is slightly more
Which would you honestly go for?
That does look nice, low milage too! Is it yours? This is where I'd be looking.

I’d love a white one
^ this!I do wonder what planet people are on when they say Maseratis aren’t fast..
I live in the countryside & get one gear change maybe two before I’m well into stupid speed, how fast do you need a road car really?
You are missing out the word ‘relative’. That’s all - anything under six seconds to 60 is plenty fast enough for our roads but it’s fair to point out to people that they are way off many newer cars acceleration wise.I do wonder what planet people are on when they say Maseratis aren’t fast..

This is a good to hear! You sound similar to me, I’m not bothered about racing the car around as fast as it can go, I love the noise and the looksI was in a similar position to yourself in that 90% of my driving will have the kids in the back. I decided to buy one of the best 4.2s that was on the market at the time rather than one of the cheapest 4.7s. I don't regret that decision at all, the noise, looks and sense of occasion are all still there and there have been zero occasions when I've thought 'this needs to be faster'.
Also, not sure whether it's just me or my car in particular but I find the shifts on the paddles in manual mode to be both firm and quick enough for a more spirited drive
