3200 Radiator Repair

Hi Guys,

The radiator on my 3200 is leaking, it started after I had a new cam belt fitted and is leaking from the side where the hoses connect, so I suspect there is a crack where the lower water pipe joins the radiator. Apparently this is not uncommon after hoses have been levered away during a cambelt change.
My question is, has anyone had a crack in this location repaired, or am I up for a new or re-cored radiator?

Ross, it really depends if they are plastic ends or if they are brass, I suspect the 3200 is brass which should be repairable.

Ross take it back to the guys who did the cambelt and get them to repair it.

You are correct, what has happened is instead of removing the rad they have levered it out of the way and cracked the top flange. It needs simply braising to repair.

I see this so, so many times it is not coincidence.
