Well after D4dawg shamed me last night at Ace Cafe, I decided to tackle my front grill today and even if I say so myself, I'm pretty pleased with the result. Wish I'd done it last week before taking down to London yesterday.

Spray from a can, good quality paint, bit of masking tape, 4 removed srews and 2 hours work.......done.....oh and a bit of elbow grease with silvo polish!

That looks very good Spike, much quicker & cheaper solution than the stainless Jag wire route that I took.... Wish I'd thought of this!

Got mine from ebay, pain in the **** to cut it to size and fix it back onto the frame. I'll try and dig out the link but it was a while ago..

Nice one Spike. Did the same to mine. Rotary wire brush to get rid of the crud - no more than ten minutes. 3 coats of metallic spray - about an hour with drying and then three coats of lacquer - about the same. Job done, and thoroughly satisfying.

Ooooo
Mate what a difference!!
I'm a lil anal with my car but hey, it's lasted longer than most of the
Girls I'm with haha so it's worth spoiling it;)

Give Brendon a call n see about ur wing , and if without being a pain, you know what
I'd do now?

Go to halfords, they do triangle plate fixers, you screw them into existing plate
Holes and then attached via stickers to rear of plate, as that will rid you of those
Plate screws and if going whole hog, can get same Maz badge on plate at middle bottom
Lil things that make all the difference with out chaving it:)
But glad you sprayed it mate, such a difference !!!

mine already had it fitted, thicker wire looks chromed. Must have been a bit of a bugger to shape but looks nice, stayed bright with only a wash down each week. Never polished it.
