My nearside rear foot well is quite damp, and the front footwell is damp but not as bad as the rear, any ideas what it could be? im guessing its leaking round door or something hence the rear being wetter.

You need to check all the seals, windows and door. If you can pull up the carpets, get someone with a hose on the outside whilst you sit on the inside. Water may be leaking down inside the trim, so you will have to remove the carpets to see exactly where it is getting in, as it should run straight down. The other possibility is a hose under the dash, or an air vent under the dash, sometimes you can get leaks from this area.

Hi Beau,

Just another check to do is your coolant level!

I had the passenger side damp, and it was the heater matrix that had busted a leak into the cabin,

Never heard of damp getting into the rear footwells. You don't park on a slope do you Beau?

It's called acceleration Miles. Water drips into the front footwell, you boot it and Voila, it ends up in the back!
