Have you checked the fuses in the passenger footwell?

Is the dash lit up when the headlights are on? If not it could be the main power relay in the same location.

Does the led light up in the AC button when you press it?

yes i would start with the fuses, there is one which goes occasionally on the AC, and its under the passenger footwell.

Hiya thanks for you help, yeah all lights are on everything as normal, just no blowers, I got an (e) come up where the temperature is. Any idea which fuse is likely? Would be pretty unusual for relay to go.....
Cheers

I think the E means your outside temp sensor has failed but it could be heater related. It’s in the wing mirror. I’m pretty sure that when it goes the blower stops working too. But not 100% sure, can’t remember exactly what happens when I had to replace my sensor.

Yeah, that might well be it, although I'd have thought manual blower control would still work. Can anyone recall if the connector for the blower is prone to fail per the 4200?

@Kevgta this:
And the next photo might help some of the troubleshooting

Ah thanks guys, might be because outside temperature was very cold 1 degree, would it start working again? or could it be faulty sensor replacement.

The sensor should be good to much lower temperature than that. At a guess -10-15C at the least.

It might be a temperature related failure, and be intermittent but try the code reading process and see what it says

I will try that first, the weird thing was, I drove somewhere absolutely fine, then when started her up 10min later nothing, had to drive back like big foot and the hedersons couldn't see where I was going! it could suggest a fuse. In manual say there's some fuses under bonnet one of them is something to do with ventilation.

Something worrying is going on there. You need to find out why the fuse has got that hot. It could be corrosion between the fuse and holder but you really need to confirm what it is.

What’s the wire that’s visible in the photo?

Humm seems weird completely burnt, although was completely dry in side fuse box. I think that wires an earth......

Maybe clean the contacts and see if a new fuse gets warm. The fuse box looks like this inside

I’d see where that wire goes. Nothing normally there. Could be tracker related.

Did i read something on here about a drain tube under the dash that if it get choked up can dump water onto the motor housing of the blower. IIRC and it is doing that the corrosion at the blower end of the circuit would explain the fuse @conaero does that ring any bells or am i imagining things.

Yeah, that's good, but you want to keep an eye on it, make sure it doesn't fail again.

Is it the correct rating, BTW?

i would be tempted to put a 40Amp fuse in there. I have seen that one get hot too and never worked out what caused it, its only once a blue moon it happens. I fitted a 40 Amps same size and its been good ever since, I wondered if maybe the fuse was rated a bit too close to the operating limit making it get hot. It should blow not cook.

Did the fuse box layout change between the early 3200 and the later 3200.

According to this one fuse 10 should be for the boot and fuel flap. However its a 30 amp fuse thats in that which is the correct rating for the aircon nothing else uses a fuse rating that high in the area. So has there been a wiring issue before and they have switched the aircon wiring to another spot on the board.

Slot 10 on on another version show its empty / heated seat.79763

Yeah got to keep an eye on it. Its the correct fuse according to handbook 30amp although like you said only one that high rated, I reckon not a bad shout Davy maybe try 40amp there.
Cheers
