I am now thinking that I should have bought an AC instead if my 4200 as they will be a great investment in a couple of years time

The front bumper and lights are some way out of alignment. The close-up shot of the wheel and arch show it quite clearly.

Cat C and it shows. Poorly repaired, you can tell it was a front ender, as nothing lines up, bonned and bumper where it meets the wing. £10k and some work, but cat C means it had chassis damage, and would want to get that checked it has been done thoroughly as the front end alignment suggests not.

Sorry Myles, just seen your post above, great minds and all!!!!!!!

Yep it is as per my first post...This one isn't worth touching and as Miles said you can see some very bad panel gaps at the front. I would say more like 9k to be honest.

I saw this one when it was on sale at the salvage yard. It had been swiped across the front, left to right, and the front of the car had moved at least a half-inch relative to the rear. Both front wings needed replacement due to distortion at the bottom of the A posts and the obvious damage up front, the front panel was wrecked and although the suspension looked OK, the chassis legs and thus the subframe must have been bent. I reckoned that parts alone plus the £5k asking price would have come to 11-12k, and you couldn't be sure to get it straight anyway...this guy must have done some serious hydraulic work and put loads of filler in the panels to have made it worth while at the price he's asking.
Apart from that, lovely car!!!
