I have Catman recommended Ebay specials too and they are totally fine. Makes me wonder why I always insisted on Bosch previously. Peanuts for what they are.

They work fine but dont clear tax disc area just right on the tip of the blade, the curve of the glass is just too much for them but its very minor and does not affect the drivers vision in the slightest

Exactly the same for me, on the extreme right there's a tiny place where they're not efficient because they're too flexible. So I guess for you guys it's on the far left ;)

:D

I have had the Bosch Aero blades before and also the Tesco aero blades and they as has been said work just as effectively.

Branded products are always a higher price, the other day I called in a chemist for a cold remedy, I look at ingredients and found 2 identical products, one branded and the other with the chemist name, the one under the chemist name was around 70% cheaper for exactly the same item apart from the box and the name..??

Curiously some studies have shown that the branded drugs work better.....

The mind is a curious thing.

My partner is a Consultant Dr, she always buys Boots own brand as the drugs have to meet a minimum standard, which they all do, and with 'brands' you are paying for all adverts.

I bought these first for my Fiat and was impressed so have the on all 3 of my cars now. They are very effective and super quiet too as both the Fiat and Nissan OEM blades, even when new, were very squeally

It beats paying the OEM massive price for something that such as Maserati, or any other car manufacturer don't actually make..!!

Bought some of these post recommendations on here. Used to avoid OEM wipers as they were always rubbish. These, however, we *so* cheap.
I'm amazed how good they are. I bought some for Mrs Catman's 147 as well. Thoroughly recommended.

thanks for the eBay tip catman just fitted to my 4200 & they work a treat.
great value for less than a couple of Peroni's

Ridiculous, innit? Glad they're working out for everyone :)

Tesco could be just Bosch repackaged..??

Robert

This is quite possible. I'm currently helping Hella with marketing of their new wiper blades - which are made at the factory used by Bosch. Essentially the same blade but significantly cheaper.

By the way, here you can see that small area that is not wiped on mine (bottom right):
