I think it's the BMC air filter P, re-usable (requires a kit to clean it) and less than £50.00 in the UK.

...cool..........OEM standard air filter is about £57 off E'spares...so a one off purchase, plus kit saves several hundreds over 6/7/8 years...never mind being an aid to improved performance....:)

Anyone use one...report back?

Sounds good to me P........

Re the filter, I'd advise it be cleaned regularly. It's high-flow, so does attract crud. You remember that recent photo on the forum?......

Yeah lambdas are £130 a throw...strewth......................aint they heard theres a double dip going on!!!!!

Are there numbers on them...who makes them.....fits what other FIAT etc empire car?

P

Last summer I took delivery of OE lambda sensors. I sourced them from Andrew Page motor factors. Bosch part number 00258 003 819 (-760) The receipt said 'Lambda sensor Ferrari various'. The cost was £117 for the pair inclusive of VAT (£49 each plus VAT I think). This was last year when vat was 17.5% they were labelled on the box as being ferrari and were 100% direct replacements.
For some reason this silly software tries to show the part number as a telephone number...just ignore the flag and go by the numbers!!

Hi Neil, thanks for that, I know another 3200 owner had replaced his Lambdas with generic items which worked for a while then gave problems, but these are exactly the same in every sense, these were which pair though?

in the Bosch catalogue.......no 00258 003 819 listed........to start with....but read on......

Only one Maserati item directly quoted......for a QP - on page 233

4.2 V8 32V 4,2 294 03.04→ 5 1000 0 258 007 272 160000 LS 7272

http://www.bosch-lambdasonde.de/en/downloads/lambda_sensor_catalogue.pdf

Then found this little section........:).....with Neils reference number( none have 2 zeros at start?), opposite another number.......(!?)

MASERATI Nos/ Bosch nos

180915 0 258 006 196...............selection of QPs/GT......£88
182837 0 258 007 001...............Front sensors ....4200 plus others.....£130
191412 0 258 006 486...............rear sensors at £78 for the 4200
383700107 0 258 003 819.......see below
383700139 0 258 006 193..........this one also for 3200AC...at £329 plus...not sure which countries.

As it turns out....the highlighted number on the left is on Eurospares( Neils no in right column)........:)......original Maserati number? But listed as fitting the 3200AC and 3200...priced at £106.80!

Phoned our local autoelectrics.....

The fronts...............182837 0 258 007 001...............Front sensors ....4200 plus others.....£130 (E'spares)....he could do for £102 including vat

The rears, which he said came up as a universal......191412 0 258 006 486...............rear sensors at £78 ( E'spares)for the 4200...came out at £86 incl.

The number mentioned by Neil hes going to check out tomorrow......Maserati no - 383700107; Bosch no - 0 258 003 819

But I feel, some- else with a closer knowledge of the sensors needs to contact the guys they get supplies off to verify/further check my info.

Guys, anyone in league with their local Bosch agent to see what or if these match up with and what sort of prices they come in at?

Thanks!

I though this was about brakes!!! Anyway, I would like to report I have replace my front disks and pad with the brembo 09.6802.20 and greengrippers combo and it all fits like a glove and works well. So thanks for the tip guys. I love it when a palm (bloody spell checker: PLAN) comes together!!

Just to let everyone know that Brakes International In Rochdale have increased price of front discs to £90 plus VAT.
Still one massive saving over OEM discs though !
I love this forum !!

Rears from here - great price...

http://www.apbrakediscs.co.uk/rear-brembo-brake-discs-ferrari-550-maranello-96-to-02.html

Genuine Brembo distributor, my rear discs came from them. Don't worry about photo, its a stock library one, they are indeed cross drilled as per my photos earlier in this thread.

Don't think BBrakes will do cheaper but you can try!

Cheers
James

Fantastic news - I'd followed this thread earlier in the year, and great to come back and find there's been real progress.

Just to summarise for anyone coming late to the thread, would someone be able to confirm that what disks boil down, front and rear, to this please (i.e. simply Ferrari 550 Maranello's)?
