2nd Car - Evoque - anyone with experiences?

I see a lot of you seem to have lease cars. I have never really looked at this. Are there real benefits? Is it worth doing?

I guess I'm like you Hoyin, I've always bought my cars.
I do high mileage so lease deals have always seemed very expensive to me.

I lease the family car (the Range Rover), and think it depends on the circumstances.

If you can stick it through a company, or get the cost deducted as a pre-tax expense, then obviously that helps a lot. I also think the convenience of everything being included (maintenance, insurance, etc) is worth something, especially if there are other drivers... finally, for me, I was attracted to the fact it avoids using up cash which can then be put to use elsewhere (less valuable now the savings interest rate is so rubbish)..

Totally agree. and it guarantees you can change your car every three years or so , so no discussing it with your wife

If you factor in deposit, payments, insurance, maintenance etc - for that type of car its unbelievably cheap (100k + car)
Can't see even many older maseratis being that much cheaper.
