Ahhh Fond memories (not!)I’ve just got to this part of my H&S online course. Ironic really as I’ve frantically been going through the modules almost non stop since 7:30 this morning as I’m nearly out of time to complete and haven’t had chance up until now. !!! F it I’m leaving at 4:30 today
Pretty sure that's what I said earlierI stand corrected....I am being a numpty. Not sure what that 100g thing is on the left. Each biscuit is actually 50g so the figures are correct. The packet is 250g total with 5 biscuits.
However.....and her comes the rub. It says for 50g serving (one biscuit) there is 11g of sugar. It also says this is 12% of the reference intake of an average adult. Read that again.....reference intake of an average adult.
..but only a total idiot would sit down and eat a packet.
Just for interest the fire brigade used to require applicants to be able to row for 30 mins at 2:00min/500m split. Maybe a small target to train towards - the times that is, not joining up.I just rowed 3k metres in a bit over 13 minutes....

Wow - I’m surprised by that...
I have done a decent amount of rowing in the last 12 months, and have got a recent 5k PB of just over 20mins (which is 2:00 per 500) and a 30mins distance of 7,330m (which is 2:02 per 500)...
Rowing is a fantastic all over exercise, but I find it harder to do for prolonged periods of time, and I found myself always trying to beat my times, so never just having an easy row.
After my wife had stopped laughing at the state I was in after just 13 minutes, she did ask why I can't just have a nice row, why does it have to be some kind of competition with myself. I just looked at her baffled, which set her off laughing again.
Thank God we all have one another for support!
I need some new batteries for my rower so that I can see time/distance, as so far I've just been on it for 15mins at a time.
Bit of a slide on the food front today, as I attempted to consume my body weight in sandwiches and sausage rolls at the wake this afternoon. But at least I don't need to eat tonight now.
Ive had a niggling headache for the last couple days, but I think that's alcohol withdrawal. So hopefully should go in a day or so.

Best way to lose weigh, cook for yourself.
Don't use cook in sauces such as Dolmio/Ragu just use a tin of tomatoes and herb for the Bolognese sauce (zep will be along soon to dismiss this!) Also if you want to do a chilli con carne use thin red chillies for the heat and a tin of Tesco own brand kindey beans in chili sauce not water with less than 5% mince beef. (the Mrs loves it!)
If you have hot food it can raise your metabolism and therefore you can lose weigh quicker. Think of it as your engine idle tickover speed running faster! I'll post my stats tomorrow and see if I can get my resting heart rate below 60...
