2003 Spyder Window US.

Can anyone please advise ,clonking n/s window has been clonking, now packed up movement,motor is still running, as new owner I am still nervous about such problems, any help welcome.

Thanks for reply Parisien, window was moving in wrong direction,pulled it up by hand, then it disconnected from motor.
By the way I am in Inverness Shire, Scotland.

...oh...US stands for what...or typo?

Still sounds like the cause above, there is a door strip door I think in the fixes section....have a looksee

It's "US" Frank, up spout, useless etc.... Sounds like either wired incorrectly to start with, or the regulator has flipped so as to work in the wrong direction..??

US is service jargon for Un Serviceable. Sounds like the regulator mechanism is US.

my favourite was utrf. Closely followed by "seat/stick interface replaced, satis".

Thanks for links etc, US is unserviceable ,one on EBay is left hand ,I may require Right hand,

Thanks for comments Robert, I think your right to say cogs have jumped gear and were working in reverse.

You were right,stripped down reg.today, spring had come off,cogs seem to have jumped as you suggested ,doing repair as shown on thread.

I had precisely this problem and it was the riveted arm on the regulator which "twisted" out of the bottom glass member. I bought a complete assembly and have lots of bits over so contact me so see if I have something of use. Follow the disassembly instruction and it is straightforward.
