Well, if its only a TB then that is one cheap car. I suspect if its advertised at that price, there will be a bit more wrong than a TB.

Nick, it is a car trader not a private sale, so that does not worry me. The worry is that the car does not start, they are saying its due to the TB but really is masking a serious engine issue.

Yes, great parts car price....but its another 3200 biting the dust if it costs more than a grand or two to put right!

If there is something deeper wrong with it they would probably take less. A cheeky £4500 opening bid might flush them out. At that price might be worth repairing. Just a thought.

Given the price of parts for these cars P this might be an option at that price for someone to use for spares eh!! its incredibly cheap

Bugatti welcome. If your new to Maserati ownership then the costs of parts and servicing is very daunting. The secret is to use this forum you will be amazed how much you can save. Handbrake shoes are £150, we can get them for £35, lambda sensors, throttle bodies, the list goes on.

So if you have any trouble and you are handy with the spanners, ask/search on here before you go chucking the car into the dealer.

I remember this car up for sale on autotrader close to beginning of the year. different company had it for sale though. it was A LOT more than £6K i can tell you.....sat at 12-13K for AGES, but the pics of the wheels and the interior put me off right away....didnt look like it was kept in good condition. If i were to buy it i'd offer no more than £5K.....would cost a fair bit to get it right

Any 3200 must be worth 5/6k....A good engine surely is around 2/3k.....Then add the wheels interior and all the other but and you will probably get your 5k back and a bit more.......I woiuld think parts will be getting a bit rare over the coming years as well...

Not £200!! Its double that, the euro being so strong, it may have been that when it was 2EURO to £1
