Rightly or wrongly, 37-38K is the going trade price for a very low mileage 2007 GS.

This is too expensive, but only by 2-3K.

Said it once say it again no GranSport coupe is worth more than £35k.nothing to with the car, it's the falling GT that forces this.

It's a loooooong way off, but the GS (and 3-2) will one day be worth more than the GT. A la 355 vs. 360 - on numbers alone, the residuals will be affected. I've never seen more than 28-30 GS's where as there are near 100 GTs for sale at any given time.

For me personally, while I intend on looking after my car immensely, I also intend on having a 100k GS so this won't apply to me :)

There's an element of this, but there are other factors at play too:
1) good condition low mileage GranSports are rare - in fact, 2nd hand GranSports are getting harder to come by (13 for sale in total, currently)
2) most GT's of a price similar to a GranSport are leggy 4.2's with no warranty left - and there are dozens of them
3) they aren't 'like for like' purchases - I see the GS as much for those who like QPs or M5's, whereas the GS will appeal to those who like traditional 'sports cars', if you get my drift

I do agree though that 35K is very close to the ceiling of what one should pay for a prime example.

The GS will be the one to have in the next 3 years, the GT will drop in value....wont be for collectors

That looks suspiciously like the GS that Graypaul Edinburgh had up until a week or so ago? If so they're being sneaky with the mileage. I was speaking to GP about this as I was interested in the car and they told me that although it was showing that mileage, it had actually done 11.8K (IIRC). The instrument cluster was replaced under warranty and so the shown mileage was lower than actual.

GP had it up at £34,850 and even that was too high with the correct mileage!

If it is the same car, buyer beware!

Miles that car Graypual had in did have 11.8k miles on it and was originally up for 37k but was the reduced to £34,850, i think your right, this could be the Graypaul car.
