Been up since 6am to finalise my tax return (I get a few hundred quid back) then on to reading a load of government generated nonsense about my business sector, now need to head road the M25 to the South Downs for a business lunch ..........
Tonight will be a lazy one, can’t face the Brexit debate down my local - time to move on regardless of invidious opinion.

Tax bill paid for the next 6-months, not too painful in the end. This is the first time I've truly been straight (as in paid up) with them in many years and it is not a bad feeling, even managed to pay a spurious £2.34 they found I allegedly owed from back in 2017!

So now at least I can get my Maserati kicked back into shape for its MOT and back on the road, it has been far too long since I drove it last.

Bugger - forgot the van needed an MOT by tomorrow! Now at about the only local station that can do a class 7! Fortunately they can fit me in today. Here’s hoping it doesn’t need anything.

Short and curlies well and truly gripped - apparently I ‘have to have’ new front pads if I want it to pass... Upselling is clearly a thing at Roadrunner Tyres Harold Wood. £150 to you sir and amazingly they can do them straight away! Lesson learned again.

Yippee... after 20 months finaly exchanged on the spare house, with completion planned for the 14th.

Now I need to sort out storage for the Maser and for the 1/4M that will be whispering 'buy a Lambo, buy a Lambo' until I figured out what to do with it.

Oak framed garage on the list as priority #1.

Congrats, Peter!

In other news, I was just doing my grocery shopping in a carrefour in Lille before heading home...
The couple behind me had a rather disturbing basket... a doughnut, a chocolate muffin, a pot of cream cheese and a pack of durex.
Let those who understand squirm.

Just back from Le Man's and it was a good meeting happy to say I'm now going to do some corporate work with Porsche.
A long haired unshaven hippy like me bizarrely for another UK company working here in Europe.
Wasn't 100% sure who the client was and glad I went down in the Boxster.
Celebrations for me tonight :)

Great news Peter and Phil, congratulations and Stevie, safe travels home.

Well my van is MOT'd and the bank account is depleted - my own silly fault for not remembering the MOT in time! Now to tax it.

Morning all, I have checked and the street lights are still on (post Brexit). Off to the shoot for a final clean up sweep.

Have fun all...

Morning all.

Peter, if you need any help spending my wife is an expert. Phil that’s great news matey. Any 24 corporate tickets greatly received :)

I had a good offer on one of my offices yesterday so my current thinking is ‘Performante’ but the money should go into a new unit for the workshop. Zep didn’t help by suggesting putting the money into the Lambo whilst looking for a new unit then sell it. Man maths at its highest level.

Andy, must be about time for another Llandow???

Me, watching round balls today and egg shaped ones tomorrow. You know what, I feel a blast in the Strad is required.

Was thinking that Matt...10 years and all that. I'll see if there is enough interest for one in the summer......
