I am getting a grinding noise when the clam shell is opening....is it the infamous motor....part #66193500 ?

I finally resolved the soft suspension issue. Amazing how inept the dealer was. The problem was the ride height.
Now it’s just fine and very driveable.
I also replace the sway bars with FOrmula Dynamics and it’s much much better.
Another issue I have is the air bag light that won’t go off...
Thank you for helping. I have not trouble lights on the dash. Car was in for service at the Ferrari dealership and they charged me two hours of labour and came up with nothing wrong.
So that is why I am thinking of just going at it on my own. their minimum charge is two hours and they guarantee...
the problem is that my sport button does not work.
when I unplug the ECU the dampers do go hard. So it must be one of the sensors...
at what point in the tunnel ? How is it accessible ?
How does one test if the acceleration sensors are ok ? resistance ?

Very interesting. I have later car a 2006 spyder GS and i cant get the sport button to stiffen the dampers. The dealer charged a a lot of money and could not figure it out. can you help ?
I took the wheels off and found that someone did not install the ball joint properly and the nuts holding the top ball joint to the upper control arm and chewed up and they are at different distances....makes me think its installed badly and crooked. I tighten the bolts and its now better but...
