The good morning thread

Also...HOU is awful, though not as bad as the NYC airports or the nightmare that's ATL...or Logan, which is categorically the worst thing I've ever grappled with for air travel. Which is saying something if you're a veteran...

The only good thing about BOS (Logan) is that the Hilton is inside the airport, so convent for flying in from Slime Rock, UT, or somewhere, in the evening, and then getting the day flight to London early morning. (Although LHR is still a dump).

Morning, all. Nice free day planned. A stroll we think.

IME Logan and LHR were OK (but I was lounge class so that helped)
ATL I loved for the monorail which I swear was the inspiration for a chapter in Half Life
LAX was horrific

Well that was very quaint and chocolate box pretty and so for the church next door and the whole village too!

Just very small, grade 2 listed and in a conservation area so no chance of planning permission to extend. Ticked so many boxes though.

Morning, all...and Monday it is. Last meeting today starts at a reasonable 5p and won't involve being yelled at, so that's nice. In fact, no real evening meetings to speak of this week, at all...!

I really only ever used LAX for international travel (domestically, there was always Ontario when needed) so my view there is colored accordingly. Similarly, Newark to Europe rather than JFK or LGA...

Morning all, end of a great weekend utility room floor tiled, SZ washed and done the local car show (did I ever think of selling, was I mad) and then took Jamie to watch Super Mario brothers where he laughed and cheered his socks off so much that everyone else cheered with him and said hello as they left. One family were heard to say how much they had enjoyed their afternoon seeing someone with difficulties having such a great time as they left - these are moments in life to treasure

Tuesday in this part of Leftpondia and St. Bin's Eve. Should actually be home at a decent hour. In theory. Hope all are well, and if anyone is willing to cut the plug off their water temperature sensor and post it to me, I would be thrilled.

Morning all. A few more chores down here in mid France. Hung a sliding door yesterday but did get time to wash the GT briefly. Today’s plan is to hang a full length mirror (for her indoors) fit Hue lights to the humidor, replace a shower rail, hose and shower head, wood filler and sand a door frame and measure up for materials to extend the wine cupboard (I’ve run out of room :))
Forecast is 25 degrees so I may have to stop halfway through the day to ‘replenish liquids’
