Welcome, near identical to my 2010 GT. Excellent choice in cars clearly.
Thank you, I've read through your posts with great interest. Now it has new springs at the back - and Eurospares saying they are lowered for the S - it has a definite hike up at the rear of course. So some like yours might have been a better bet! Or I'll have to do the fronts
Incidentally I have had the Delta's Bilstein struts converted to adjustable coilovers and I got all the springs for that from Faulkners, very good supplier.

Yes it was always a pet hate of mine, that gaping rear wheel arch gap. The 25 mm drop from the Faulkner springs definitely did the job.
Good to hear positive comments about them.

Hi all
Been lurking on here for a while, have now done the decent thing & signed up. About a year ago I bought a 2008 4.7 Granturismo S MC Shift, I'm afraid I did everything wrong, didn't do much research & ended up going back to buy the first one I saw after viewing a couple of sheds. Love it so much & what a noise!
57k miles, good amount of receipts & history, in nero carbonio with black leather & alcantara interior. The alcantara steering wheel rim was a bit manky so I've put a leather one on for now, and the sticky button issue has started to get a bit annoying in places.
As well as the steering wheel, so far I've had to replace 1 front & 1 rear parking sensor (the Skoda info on here saved me a bundle), fit 2 new rear springs as I found one had broken when it was being serviced, fit a new boot striker (I had a flat battery & the plastic manual release lever was snapped in half which I didn't realise until I needed it!) and replace the CD drive in the stereo. I've also replaced the vacuum tubing for the exhaust valves as it perished & the valves were staying open - which is obviously best - however sometimes I do need to keep the neighbours on side!
As you may deduce Lancia have always been my first automotive love, however after deciding to give up motorsport a couple of years ago I decided I'd treat myself to one of these & despite needing these jobs I'm very happy with it. Not sure the other half is!
Thanks all, look forward to everything.
Cheers,
Mike

Congrats, and a great choice of colour. Keeping her clean is going to need work though especially if parked outside.

Welcome! Despite parting with my GC a couple of years ago I stay on here as it’s the most fun and inclusive car forum Ive found IMO

I organised a meet on the North Norfolk coast near Wells a while back with a good attendance, so will sort something out again for Spring 23 and bring one of my other cars along. Hope u can make it!

Most of what you pick up from people on here should clear up. It'll sting like **** when you pass water for a while but you should stop being contagious after two to three weeks.
Although I never cease to be amazed at the life experience of folk on here, Mr Crud deserves a bravery award for such a public admission.
