Wellies worn in Surrey don't necessarily work in Essex...different grip compounds for the geology of the local area but I have it on good authority that white ones with a high heel work particularly well for the ladies..

My wellies need to mostly cope with mud and moderate hills. We have some excellent coastal walks so a resistance to saltwater is also helpful. Surrey obviously wins for hills but salt resistance is not necessary there. You're right to differentiate.

One of the reasons I frequent this forum is to come into contact with people I would not otherwise encounter in real life. The experience is not always a happy one but interesting nonetheless.

Based on the number of people I have already 'Ignored' to retain my sanity, this thread seems to be mostly @Felonious Crud replying to the ether ;)

More seriously, the cooler idea seems a good one. Whilst I understand that there is an obvious occupant in there, he is not the only offensive person on the forum but like I say, they are probably 'Ignored' by me so it appears I have, thankfully, missed the worst of it lately.
