What passes were you on - ours were a bit challenging - passo pura - a white road, virtually single track, numerous hairpins and we had to retrace our steps because of road closure - it made the Plockenpass seem like a motorway....

Pass (sorry)

We were going from St. Moritz to Troyes in France (long drag, but people were ill and so on). Someone was kind enough to send me the MP3 before we set off on the centenary odyssey, but it took this long to get the track playing.

As an immortal memory I was laughing like an idiot and Mrs C asked my what was so funny:"

"I'm driving through the Italian passes, in a FSCKING Maserati with the woman I love next to me, the sun is shining and I have Matt Monroe on the stereo. If I wasn't laughing I'd have to be dead from the neck up"
