The interior of that QP GT S screams 70s pornographer… Im debating whether it’s perverse to like it for that reason! If nothing else, it’s certainly unique and if you’re considering resale down the line then this may be an obstacle to a more regular black interior.

Is it a 4.7? Just checking..... They will both sound the same with valvd exhausts. Supposedly the gearbox is quicker on the GT S in sport and if has launch mode but I never thought my zf was slow.
I think I read somewhere the GT S received a different and faster flavour of gearbox software, can’t remember where I saw that. There is a launch mode in a handbook addendum, describes it as ‘MC Fast Start Strategy’ or something… MSP off, depress brake pedal, build the revs then floor it whilst releasing the brake. Never felt the need to try it really…

I think someone else cited fixed rate dampers on the GT S in place of Skyhook. The headlamps feature black/darker enclosures than standard, and let’s not forget those lovely red accents adorning the front and side tridents ;) and the stock sport exhaust system frees up another 10hp compared to the S, which I’m sure equates to a massive real life difference on the road..!

Exactly what I thought. The headlights do look better in the dark enclosures.
If that's a porno car I would be wearing gloves with that Alcantara steering wheel and plastic seat covers. Wiping on the curtains springs to mind. :p

Apparently there were two:

Yes. I’d forgotten. It looks like the opening chase scene is an earlier car with four oval pipes and a mesh grille and the later scenes feature a full fat 4.7 GT S. There’s a brief shot of it under the factory blue and white cover too.

A lovely movie too. Can’t bring myself to watch the US remake though.

The WTAF?!

Jennifer Lawrence is in a wheelchair, and Will Smith is a hedge fund manager with a heart of gold who decides to help her get around. They have a bunch of hilarious set-piece moments such as a great day out at Disneyland. But when an evil English thug (Jason Statham) finds out that Jennifer's wheelchair is made of a rare metal that he can sell to an English megalomaniac (Anthony Hopkins), Smith (who turns out to be ex-military) has to regretfully, yet wittily, shoot all his henchmen and save the day. They all drive Cadillac Escalades.

I am really, really hoping they didn’t make this film!

Turns out they did make a US version - very similar, but worse. Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, Nicole Kidman and (of course) a Ferrari. "Preachy, manipulative, and frustratingly clichéd"
There's a good reason, I and most of the people here haven't heard of that version!

Reassuringly, IMDB positions The Intouchables with a higher rating vs. the US one.

We used to have a bot at one of my old companies that would create movie plots to order. Never quite as complex as that but along the lines of
He's a hedge fund manager with a heart of gold, she's a wheelchair bound Ferrari owner with a hidden past. They fight crime.

And so on
