so is that gaffa tape on front to stop them flapping up and yours do look a tad wider as well, get that jigsaw out
They’re rock solid with the bolts and ali strip so Im guessing to keep water out???

Narrower looks better, and with the light unit doesn’t look quite so odd.
Is the grey around the light pod to be painted black like the 2 cars in the photos or body colour, or left as is?

it was a pig, although paint looks nice and shiny it was pretty rough in quite a few places as was the the bodywork, colour seems the same as yours so had to have a closer look at itThat’s pretty rough in places. Look between the headlights and bonnet. Those lumps are where the headlight support is rusting away
