still stalled, been living on the 2 poster for the last few months admiring my underside resto handy work, paintwork on yours looks superb, are you happy with the finish

Timely question, in a word no, i can see sanding scratches in the clear so I’ve bought a rotary polisher (I used a DA) and that is today’s job fingers crossed!!

never used any kind of polisher, assume you need to be rather careful not to go through paint

Seals on the tops.

Had to take the side pipes off to bend the brackets as they didn’t clear the doors.

Alternator on but it’s right at the end of the adjustment to clear the rocker covers so not sure about that.

Had to go back in the thread to be sure, but you are running roller rockers and have tall valve covers. That's where you lost the clearance.
Edit: Paint looks great, what are the 4 holes in the front valence between the hood and the headlight buckets for?
Oneball, you're going to be the cat'sass in that car.

You’re right about the taller valve covers but I was looking at another car with them and it had much more adjustment, his alternator could almost touch the inner wing. I think my adjustment stay isn’t as long as some.

The holes are for the plexi headlight covers.
