Just had an update from the mother in law. 4 deaths in her carehome, 2, 2 weeks ago and 1 each week since (1 her patient). Now to make her see sense that it's not worth it with her scarred lung and high risk pensioner husband. If it's not too late, which I fear it may.
Jesus. I feel for you. She is too brave for her own good.

Why's it called espresso when it take so bloody long ;)
C
I had my first espresso in about 2002 after I'd driven from Carmarthen to Cardiff airport, flight cancelled, nabbed last hire car (Renault Megane 4x4 Auto) agreed to drop two girls off on the way (actually was hoping for a three-way in return but one looked a bit like Harry Potter and it put me off). Dropped on off at Lesmahago off the M74, dropped the other off in Dunfermline, to drive back to Glasgow airport to collect the hire car I'd left there to drop that off at the hire hire firm in Dumfries to collect my car and drive back home to Annan.

I'd driven about 9 hours when I got to Glasgow airport, so to wake me up I had my first espresso.

Tiny aren't they?

14 hours after Carmarthen I got home after refuelling two hire cars totally shattered, went to bed, couldn't sleep! Additionally going back down the M74 hit the worst storm I'd ever seem, wipers nowhere near man enough, everyone driving at 30mph it was that bad.

And that, right there, is why I don't have an espresso machine.
C

that's spot on, many years ago it was the bloomin cafeteria thing fill it up with water and ground coffee and on the hob, a right pain and only bothered having the odd espresso once a week, since the bloomin bean to cup machine it's far to easy to simply press the button and literally have anything between 5 to 8 espressos in the morning first thing

Why are the Germany Covid figures so much better all round by some considerable margin?

I know we have said their health seems a little better but it is a massive massive difference.

And why are Luxembourg’s so much worse per capita? Is it accurate reporting?
