I think you have said it all Loz; Team Remoan won’t miss even the slightest chance to try anything to derail Brexit, like Magpies raiding a nest...

I think im going mad , Cant believe what ive just heard on the Good morning telly Piers Morgan , advocating that Tony Blair , Gordon Brown, Teresa May, and David Cameron should be brought back to form either an interim Government or advisory panel to the government because Boris will need complete rest (rightly so ) they say there will be no complete leadership , will or can these remainers stoop any lower, I ve heard it all now and found myself shouting abuse at the box ........ All of those people were voted out by the general public specifically because of their failings , and there was Piers congratulating Gordon Brown over his financial prowess for his managing of the 2008 FC , feck he sold our gold reserves off at the lowest price ever .................................whats happening guys help me out :suicide:

Piers Morgan is an ****, why does anyone listen to a word he says.

I hope Boris pulls through, as I do anyone with this virus, but he is certainly going to need time to recover even when clear

I remain (sic) very pleased that Piers is a stuffed shirt on TV and not actually responsible for anything. And I really hope it stays that way.

You were listening to Piers that’s the problem. I can only assume either:

A You’re nuttier than a squirrel smeared in peanut butter and dipped in a bag of KP’s finest.

Or

B There was a floozy in a short skirt sitting next to him.

So I am ‘back to work on Tuesday - WTF! What has changed since we closed site a week ago? - **** All!
Well we have all had a 20% pay cut, we have furloughed some of the staff, site based hangars and logistics managers
But our ‘health and safety’ department who quote all the rules seem to think it’s okay.
No news on how to keep 2m distance when lifting a 80kg sheet of glass that’s 1800mm long or how to get onto site (18th floor) via a lift that’s only 1.8m deep (1 at a time - but it’s a shared lift and doesn’t stop any body getting in on another floor)
Construction is generally a two person operation, the majority of trades and processes are either not safe on your own, or not possible.
Couple this with a building management who control the tradesman entrance via the loading bay and goods in, who really don’t care and treat us as second class I can’t see how we can achieve all the rules.
That is before we consider how we all get to work in central London, tube, bus, train! There is no parking available (for contractors)

oh well - should’ve posted on the rant thread

I’d develop an annoying cough and point out that it feels rather warm for this time of year but in the same rasping breath, point out that you’re looking forward to returning on Tuesday.

....Eating lemons because we need to be more alkali is a perennial favourite.....

A fine example of how dumb and easily influenced humans are is when some Brit in China says on Sky News (or something like that) 'Well, I say, I'm beating that bally virus by wrapping up in a nice warm cardigan and drinking plenty of hot toddies', and in consequence hundreds of people in Iran kill themselves by drinking methanol. If the virus doesn't kill us all, then stupidity will probably do it in the end.

I thought it was great.

...and I really don't want to be that 'everything is a conspiracy' guy, but I just noticed that Jane Raison's FB page has "Mel Briscome' as its URL. She seems to be Jane Biscombe on Linkedin, so I'm guessing that she used to be married to Melvin Biscombe (when they were at Surrey County Council together) and she somehow took over and re-purposed his FB page about 10 years ago.
