From a different forum.................

The more that I look at the details in yesterday's pic of Iran's leaders, the less confidence that I have that the Mullahs are going to contain CoronaVirus there:

My thoughts............................
What the heck is it with the guy in the all black mask? He looks more like Antifa than Iran government official.
The idiots are running the asylum?

Wait, wait, wait..........just spotted sixth from the right, second row ......Is that an old divers helmet? This is a wind up right?

The Middle Eastern culture involves standing shoulder to shoulder at Mass and much hugging/ cheek kissing.Communal eating bowls too.

Iran is in big trouble with this....and it’s now in my old stomping ground of Bahrain...

Hope all on here remain unaffected and in fine fettel,

Why is the WHO not declaring this a pandemic.
It walks like one, sneezes, wheezes, sweats and coughs like one all over the globe.

America is in total denial about what is happening here. CDC has only tested 400 people so no wonder they’re not announcing outbreak cases.
I’ve seen the social unrest in China and it ain’t pretty.......if that ever occurs in the US then all those millions of assault rifles etc are gonna be put to some use especially if the situation is ‘desperate’ in certain locations.
Wild West.

It’s probably not spread to enough countries to meet their definition of one so is just an epidemic. I’d imagine once there’s a glut of cases in South America or Sub Saharan Africa it’ll become a pandemic.

In other news; 4 of those flown back to the UK from the cruise liner have now tested positive. I’m off to gaffer tape myself in the garage.

It will be declared a pandemic by next week, it is at the tipping point right now.

the problem is being a virus it needs a specific anti-viral developing and atm they have nothing only generic ones that will solve nothing. They are really working to get one and I’m sure within 6 months they will have it cracked; it may just be too late by then.

A statistic for you: At any moment there are over 1.25 million people in the air around the world

Not it it spreads now but how well are you able to cope with it? How many elderly or infirm relatives will you take out with it when you get it?

the biggy: What when it mutates???

Oh yes don’t bother asking your Dr for antibiotics; it is a virus not a bacterial infection they will do nothing but use up another scarce ab from the few available to you in your lifetime...

Fed up sitting on the sidelines, in your bunker, roof space or garage?
You are the planet's last hope. No. Really. You ARE the planet's last hope.
Play PANDEMIC the game, at your local A&E and WHO knows, you just might save humanity.*

Can anyone explain to me why the World Health Organisation and worldwide Govts are so worried about coronavirus which has a typical mortality rate of just 2% vs normal winter flu virus which has a mortality rate of 1%? I can understand the concerns with viruses like SARS which had a mortality rate of 10% and MERS which was even higher but I just don't get the panic stations over coronavirus unless we are not seeing the true story yet and the mortality rates are much much higher. The story just doesn't stack up....

Because it seems to spread quickly and easily (more so than SARS and MERS). They think it is similar to Spanish Flu in 1918/19 (both in transfer and mortality rates) and that killed 1.7% of the world’s population even without global air travel etc.

You’re not seeing the true story.

Just checked the published stats and it actually suggests a 3% mortality rate for coronavirus but it's still no where near the level of SARS. I've also just seen pictures of supermarkets in Italy devoid of pasta, tinned food etc as panic buying sets in. This is becoming a crazy world and it won't be long before the same kind of public reaction hits other countries..... including the UK. Complete and utter madness....
