I read his bio ages ago, one story stuck out. He'd been on the ale the night before and a bit rough in the morning for practice at Zanvoort. Anyway he got into the car doing his laps and remember they was no TV for practice than, never reappeared.

Emergency was called, ambulances and fire engines out fearing the worst and at the tracks far edge they see Hunt's car on the verge with Hunt still in the car with his head at a crazy angle over the side of the cockpit.

Turned out he felt rough, stopped, parked the car up and had a kip cos he was so hungover.

What a guy!

Another reminder of different times, funny thing is these days a lot of people who consider themselves to be tolerant and liberal are the most po-faced you're ever likely to meet, with a strange holier than though puritanical streak to match....

Its annoying when people are intolerant and derisory about other peoples views, isn't it?

A nice Suzuki RV or Sand Bike had an RV90 in Saudi Arabia 1979.
