We had austerity but all the time we were still bailing the EU out, WTF! the whole thing is a sham, this lot will not let brexit happen killing democracy in the process!
The EU will just keep letting this lot push the date back, why? Because all the while we will be ploughing even more money into a system that we are propping up, they (the EU) don’t want us to leave, we have not negotiated from a position of strength like we should have!
I hope the EU do grow a pair and put our miserable parliament out of their misery and force a no deal brexit!
And don’t get me started on Corbyn the scruffy c*nt! Bring on 12/04/19, bring on brexit!
Just my opinion BTW!
and a very excellent one it is indeed.

I have left this thread along but watching all those politicians on the news yesterday just made my blood boil...I want to say I have no political persuasion and I voted to stay in but I respect the vote. The vote was leave....end off....And all this ******** about no one knew what they were voting for and we didn't vote for this......Of course no one knew as no one knew what it would be like to leave but voters took the risk and the vote was to leave. Spot on above......I can't believe how out of touch the politiicians are sat behind those achient walls and it Corbyn mentions a general election once more he needs to be taken outside a shot. He isnt interested in the 'people' and what was voted just his own political gain. Never mind May going he should **** off as well...What a cock nostril. If there was an election now can see anyone voting the two big parties anyway after this.Where is Screaming Lord Sutch when you need him. Can't they see what they are doing to the country.......

Excellent rant! Welcome to the madness.
I agree, who will vote Labour/conservative or indeed for anyone who didn’t do what they said they would and were elected to do.

Yep madness for sure! A four decade old Tory Eurosceptic toxic obsession on Europe in-fight spills out on to the streets. Some are making a killing and confusion is abound. No surprise really, we’ve had a 25 year drip feed of anti EU sentiment through media, tabloid and broadsheet campaigns with really misrepresenting headlines, EU to ban this, EU to stop that.....just fill in the blank. So little wonder the vote went the way it did and people are now angry......Oops!! Whatever will the Daily mail, The Daily express, The Sun and the Telegraph to name a few, b*tch about now when we leave? :D If a paper gets away with a headline like Freddie Star ate my hamster............just saying.

How most politicians can sleep at night I don't know. How you can put political and selfish gain ahead of the country's best interest is shocking, selfish, abhorant, wrong and almost criminal in my book. Corbyn is a joke and should be banned from being an MP and banned from being British. Never liked him and now I know why.

We have the political equivalent of WW3 going off and all parties, politicians and the people should be coming together as one to do what is best for the country as a collective whole....as one. Treat it like a war. It is that important we get this right. This is not happening clearly and there are more divisions now than ever at the exact time the reverse is required. We have turned into a society of selfish people only out for themselves. Not all of us.....but many.....too many. This is not right.

I genuinely feel we would be better on our own and out of this forced mess. This is a long term view and likely against my or our own generations better interests. This is a view for our children and future generations. It is the right thing to do IMHO.

I am similar to many with the overwhelming emotion being anger and disbelief at how bad we have dealt with this from day one and even now it is still a joke. The EU fair no better IMHO. Nobody has any idea what they are doing and it shows.

Please someone with some balls and real world intellect step up to the plate and grab this bull by the horns to deal with.

We are an island with natural physical borders, we have our own currency and politicial/legal system. We are in a pretty good starting place to be on our own. We need some world trade deals to allow us to buy what we need and sell what we have. Big deal...men have been put in the moon, people saved from cancer, organ transplants.....many amazing things we can do.

To exit the EU and sort ourselves out is not the hardest thing we have ever done or will do. We have successfully (although in the real world all were losers!) negotiated 2 world wars. Come up people.....we can do this. Step up to the plate.....your country needs you.

This absolutely.

We've been sold a constant feed of EU this, EU that, EU the other. When the reality is that its our politicians that have been making the decisions not the EU. The vast majority of EU directives, over 90%, have been approved of by our governments over the years, we've been instrumental in pushing for some of them. The EU has been a convenient scapegoat used by papers and parties to get them off the hook.

All of this "Its the EUs fault for X" is complete and utter bullocks, and I can't believe the number of supposedly functioning human beings that have fallen for it. To me it shows a complete failure of our education system to teach people critical thinking.

What do people expect to happen when we leave the EU? We've seen the level of incompetence that is required to become an MP. In many cases, all you appear to need is an over inflated opinion of yourself, naked greed, and boundless ambition. Austerity is, and always, has been a sham. Its a way of keeping people in their place whilst siphoning off money to those that already had more than they know what to do with.

I voted remain, would still vote remain, and hope the whole thing gets called off. One of the main reasons is that I saw through this whole charade years ago and value the EU to protect us from our own government.

Latest news. Tory MPs are having a briefing on what a customs union is next week. This admission that they don't know what it is they have been voting on beggars belief.

If you ran a business the way the MPs are running Brexit it would have gone bust. These so called specialists need to out away their petty bickering and do what's best for the country they are suppose to be running. They need to list the options, vote and the lowest one drops out, then vote again and the lowest drops out keep going to we have one option and then negotiate that with the EU, if they won't play ball we leave.

This could have been done months ago and even now we could get an option by the 12th April and a final decision by the end of May

So the Brexiteers now tell us we will survive, we’ll be alright, what happened to the “we are going to thrive”, “we hold all the cards”, that we had earlier on? Why are the Brexiteers now so subdued in their dialogue and narrative. Have the grown ups entered the room yet? Do they finally see the Emperor really has no clothes on?

Id like to remain, but if we leave we leave... the end game will have us do alright, but we will have decades of loss to make up for...

There is no don't that we are one of the stronger countries, but that's not what really counts. Sharing, friendships and good karma are just as valuable... I know that I could save money and eat at more restaurants that I liked if I bailed on my mates, but hanging with friends I experience different culture and I have access to a wealth of knowledge and resource that's outside my grasp...
We all muck in and support each other, sometimes we win, sometimes we loose.

Going it alone, headstrong and full of bravado... in any situation is a sure fire way to get burnt.

Some time ago I said this:

Regardless of whether we should stay or leave, the one thing the debate has shown is that far too many back-stabbing, self-serving, politicians of all persuasions are prepared to sacrifice the good of the United Kingdom for personal ambition and cheap party politics. It's high time they grew up and stopped acting like kids in a playground; many of the current crop make me shudder at a time when the country needs rational and constructive proposals, not cheap point scoring and soundbites.

My apologies to all as, with the benefit of hindsight, it is clear that I seriously overestimated their abilities. I should have described them as incompetent, clueless, chancers who are more likely to pick the jackpot lottery numbers than understand the meaning of the word 'integrity'.

Interesting, I wonder how much give and take there will be, who will dictate to who if we do a trade deal with America (who is currently chomping at the bit for us to just leave with no deal....) I wonder how much “sovereignty” we’ll give up in desperation to sign on the dotted line.....who will we get into bed with on the next war for the sake of a trade deal.....

White Pro-EU Remainer squares up to Black Pro-Brexit Leaver.

So if, according to the left wing press and Remain MPs, "all Brexiteers are, white, immigrant hating, far Right-wing racists", how do you, possibly, explain this?

I bet this confuses the **** out of lefty libtards, especially that moron, Channel 4 News Anchor John Snow who said, speaking about the, Brexit, crowd in Westminsrer "I have never seen so many white people in one place"! FFS LOL is poor John Snow going a bit doolally in his old age?
