This is probably for the best, the Q4 has a locking centre diff, so if you do one axle at a time it will try to lock the front and rear wheels together
'Bang'

Interesting read....
Anybody know if it’s possible to buy a new diff assembly ( eurosoares 192735. ) ?
Grtzzz...!
Must remember to pass this on to my friendly Garage when I get my MOT...
I need to find a transmission specialist. And probably speak with someone who knows the cars rather intimately, to ascertain it is possible to spilt the parts & either have them refurbed, or replaced.
I think a call to AV is on the cards...!
You definitely can split them.....
Like the wheel bearings, eh !?!!

I am curious about this and hoping my mot place is wise to all of this. What would be the symptom if the garage had horsed the LSD? Would the drive just nto work of would it still drive ok just no LSD function? I am wondering if I would have noticed if this had been broken in the past?
haha!!! I must pay more attentionYou’d only smoke up one rear tyre leaving the mot station not both!
