Well I am getting older now (30) so thought a more sober car was in order.
Ha ha. 30 is still very young, as well you know. (Well that's what I try and convince myself anyway LOL)

Lovely car, Lee. Congratulations. And well done on bringing down the average age of the forum by a few years.
.....by a good decade.....;)
Hmmm, I wonder what the average age of a Sports Maserati member is?!? Maybe we need a poll, or will everyone just deduct several years from their true age LOL. (I'm 35, so does that mean I've also brought the average age down?!?)

I bought my (4.2l, base) GranTurismo when I was 31, as a belated 30th Birthday present to myself; so not sure if that counts LOL.
The Lotus Esprit?!? Great choice Andy. Never driven one, but they looked gorgeous (and still do ofc). What was it like to drive?!? Hope you did a better job of driving it than Richard Gere in Pretty Woman!

Yeah should be able to make that.
That's great news Lee, cheers :thumb3: Hope you saw the link to the dedicated thread in my previous post(?)

Had Ferrari, Lambourghini, Porsche etc as well as the more glamorous Renault Clio, Sprinter van etc etc
If you don't mind, it would be good to get your thoughts on what the Maser is like c/w the Lambos, Porsches, etc. (I often find it interesting when people compare experiences.)

Cheers,
T

At 30 a Ghibli (abs model) was my daily car as the 3200 was still a year away from being introduced in the UK. Had a Lambo Jalpa and a Ferrari 355 spider for sunny days. (No kids back then so didn't need anything with 4 real seats).

Passed my driving test first time 3 weeks after my 17th birthday was gutted couldn't get mine sooner and was driving a Daimler 250 V8 on the old mans garage insurance then straight into a 420 Style it was good old days no computers and insurance certificates hand written by the broker.
Didn't get my Maserati until I was 48 though.
