just standard suction cup? Does it not potentially damage the screen :/

that did cross my mind to put it there..

Yup, just standard. No damage at all. It sits just to the left of the instrument binnacle, so doesn't obscure vision and is easy to see without taking your eyes much off the road.

Has anyone else had problems getting out of multi storey car parks...
I got stuck coming out of one today...
Had 4 attendants trying to help - one on each corner and they couldn't get it out.

Had to block off the entrance - clear the ramps and send me out the front with a guard of honour.

Insane the design of these concrete monstrosities.. and the length of these :?

Yup, got stuck in my 351 XJ! Had to scrape front right & rear left alloys at the same time as was impossible to get out. Horrible noise to hear!!

Just had them fully refurbished. Only car I have kerbed for years & only done it 3 times in the XJ all in car parks. It is a little large.

I got stuck in West Quay's car park in Southampton about a month after buying the GT. Seemed to be wedged in and I had to give it some beans to get out. God knows what the car behind me thought I was doing as I fish tailed out of the car park. Damaged both alloys on the passenger side which needed a full refurb on them. The Wheel Specialist said it was a known problem with modern car parks and cars like ours. Apparently Astons suffer the same fate. Now I tend to avoid multi-stories and try and fins a nice safe road side space.

Don't take 'em to multi-stories. Ever. Spaces too narrow and too short, concrete blocks too big and in stupid places, other users too prone to flinging doors open too vigorously. Avoid, avoid, avoid. The GTS is just way too big.

Take it to a shopping centre and leave it with the on site Valeting operations. Amazing how often they end up parked in pride of place. Did this with the 4200 just before Chistmas. We actually didn't recognise it :)

Mega difficult to park in city centres now...maybe I should have got a gransport!?

At Bluewater they are underground, or near as makes no difference. Mrs Catman got quite fraught when I wound down the windows on entry :)

Car park wash....Arghhhh
Dirty water
Contaminated sponge
filty drying rags
rings on hands
belt buckles, zips and jean studs
Harsh chemicals
spray on silicone
Use of water blades
swirl marks and scratches
Not the best way to keep your car looking its best.

Not car park car wash. Car park *valet*.

Clean water, two buckets, proper polish etc etc. £35 vs £5
