The white, for me at least, works better with the exterior carbon pack. Breaks it up a wee bit.

I'd not say no, mind you. Especially with those rear seats.

As we discussed at the post-Christmas lunch the difference between a GTS and a Stradale, whilst good, is simply not justified by the additional 30k. I'll be interested to see how the prices on these cars work out when they're a few years old. Will it still be such a bit gap between a "regular" GTS and a Strad?

I feel that the Stradale looks a lot better than the GT Sport but I've got a real downer on the front end of the latter, GTS is a much better looker than it's successor. The weight loss of the Stradale will be appealing for some but the price difference is something else.

It really doesn't do it for me at all. There are some that I think look lovely, JCFs on the pictures thread for example, but I don't like all the vents combined with the 2013 sport front end. Starting to look like an after market body kit in my eyes.

I understand what you say and I would take a different colour but I do feel that the Stradale front end is a lot lot better than the 2013 sport.

Agree that the white needs the exterior carbon pack.
Biggest downer for me though is the new Strad appears to lose the carbon backed lightweight front seats, are they still an option?

If you are ordering new anything is an option and you could tailor to your exact requirements, but at a price..!!

The new snout is highlighted with white, even on the Stradale which I think it suits much better. I'd go for Grigio Lava. Trouble is, spec'd to what I'd want I think list would be some way north of 120k, which is just way too much money.

sjc, I agree - those seat backs are gorgeous. It would be a terrible waste to have seat backs that good and no rear seats from which the passengers to enjoy them.

This isn't for me (in that colour especially) I'd feel a bit of a plumb driving that, for me i like Maserati's to be a bit more subtle with more classic styling, some of the vents and spoilers on this just look a bit naff to me

i'd still be over the moon to own one though

I'd be interested in one of these second-hand, but not brand-new.

£115K is a lot of wonga for a platform which essentially hasn't changed at all in 7 years. At least with Ferraris, you are getting the latest technology for your money.

As an aside, anyone know when the next Maserati Coupe is due? I'll probably hold out for that, so long as the pricing isn't mental.

Maser Sod,
It's 2014 now, so does that mean you are without, or that you have just not changed your signature..!!

I suppose it's time to start saving up for an MCS

Yeah, sadly without, having sold my GranSport.

Starting to think it was a mistake, I only sold it as I wanted to get into a Ghibli, but I've got cold feet about it. Can't bring myself to spend 60K on something I don't 100% want. Have been close a couple of times on a Stradale but have never pulled the trigger.

Maybe I'll just skip a generation ... again. :(

That's a trigger that needs pulling, Maser Sod. For Queen and country. For yourself. For the forum.

Yeah, Amari have one up now for 72K, only 8,000 on the clock. Barely broken in, and probably 40K cheaper than new. Tempting ...
