I think one (or more likely all three) of the Biturbos they're using will meet a sorry end. In both the '1 day to go' trailer and the 'Things to come this season' trailer which was shown during the episode, the blue Spyder can be seen being thrown into what looks like a lake. Disappointing really, but there we go.

As for the first episode...I won't spoil it for anyone that's not seen it, but I feel like they held back a little to accomplish a steady start which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Some parts were a bit strange though. The cinematography however was excellent as always!

Just watched it this morning. Apart from the celebrity bit I thought it was awesome. Better than the original Top Gear as it is far less PC. Travelling like gypsies but car insurance just one of the many in pc quips. The long awaited three super car face off was excellent with a different result than Chris Harris but you felt the thrills more.

+1 Very good, the chemistry they have is very hard for the New Top Gear too match, suggest after seeing this they take that show in a different direction......

Finished it and it got better, supercar shootout was well worth the watch as was the M2 piece.
