It is "only a game" but it represents so much more, belief, hope, belonging, togetherness, pride, to name but a few, I'm a bit odd tho, I will support any British team/person in any competition.

Ah, I do get that it means that to some Dave......but we are all different and it doesn't mean any of that to me.

Morning all, today will be spent packing, the family are planning to spend most of summer in Dublin so I am taking the RR over on the boat with everything they need.

We also get our yearly Red Arrows display :)

Morning mob. Looks like another lovely day. Need to take my mother back to Luton via Morrisons (joy)

Still, had an interesting time in the Margate area yesterday. Interesting how many memories didn't come flooding back.

Have a great day, all

Morrison’s on a sunny Sunday? Sorry to hear that, Chris. My thoughts are with you.

Morning. Went for a cracking Vietnamese last night, which made a nice change. Today is expected to involve some grass-cutting, swinging over to see Dan! and a barbecue. More or less in that order. But first, coffee.

Morning.
Planning in taking the Maser to a local show this afternoon.
Usually take the Stag but took her to an evening show on Friday and she was not too happy, traffic and the high ambient temperature suffered from bad fuel vaporisation that I've never had with her in the past, going back a few decades, also it was too hot with the top down too!!
So a coupe with AC appeals greatly today.

Morning all
Warm and less sunny today but it does seem to clear up later on. Hopefully the same today.
A quiet day I think after the excesses of the weekend

Very understanding, happily. As well as being very happy to watch me tuck in, she also tried some herself. I feel a whole new chapter opening before us.

Morning,
Not a cloud in the sky from my bedroom window, which suggests my cycling may be a tad harder, coffee, porridge then bike for me, no doubt the pm will involve domestic duties...
Have a good day..

Afternoon all from a very hot and sunny garden in Kent.
Was supposed to have been doing more training for my bike ride today however, I got to 31 Miles yesterday, my chain came off and the bike refused to stay in any gear. Fortunately I was only 6 miles from home so Alex came and collected me. It’s off to the bike shop for them to hopefully fix tomorrow first thing.

Hats off to you cycling sorts. After a busy start (cut grass) things have slowed down a bit and I have been mostly been sitting in the garden. I did manage to sit in Dan!’s garden for a Pimm’s earlier, but otherwise it’s been a remarkably sedentary kind of a day.

Morning all, another GP survived. The tourists weren't that well behaved and too much beer on Saturday night led to a stabbing and an air ambulance.

Heh ho big day today step 2 of our Ireland plan. Range Rover loaded with enough stuff for a family for 6 weeks, off to Holyhead and then ferry to Dublin , unpack and leave it there for the summer. As soon as the kids finish school family moving over for a long holiday or a pre trial of Irish living.
