Car park altercation. Picked the car up from Marious, stopped in services on M6, got into a spot and ad I opened my door, ever do lightly touched the door protector of the car next to me. Guy is in car, starts swearing, lowers window and asks for my insurance details. I say I'm really sorry, there is no damage, barely touched, he says I'm sorry for yours and tries to open his door into my car, I have my hand in the way, he barely looks at his car, I told wife to get back in and we will move car, he says you better, then videos me leaving the space. Do I need to be concerned.

Only concerned for the human race and that you bumped into this ***** today. What can he do? If he wants to inflict damage on it and then call his insurance company then show them the film claiming you damaged the car and drove off then it is his word against yours. Is there any CCTV footage of the incident?

Doubt it Phil, I just couldn't believe his attitude, overly agressive and barely looked at his own car. Like you say, mine and the wife's word against his, allthough I would always tell the truth. Truly despicable little man. True Matt. In a previous life I would have just sorted it in car park. Too many phones around now. And the wife was there!!

Dave - what an odious little pr1ck. If you have any photos of his untouched car that’d be helpful, but I’m sure the services car park has cameras in case the bellend does decide to pursue some BS claim. With zero admissible evidence I can’t see it getting far, to be honest. One of many reasons why I always park in some remote corner.

Morning all, can’t sleep, too sultry, all the kids got home from their various gigs etc. Amazingly I didn’t have to be a taxi for any of them! I do have to do that duty shortly for one that is off to Germany & France for marching band shows all weekend.

Good morning all......Dan my 12 year old has a driving lesson today over the Mall in Bristol...He had it for his birthday. It's in a Vauxhall Corsa and he will have no problem reaching the pedals as he's is now as tall as me.....

Morning, hectic day and I forgot about the F1.
Rach doing Tough Mudder which she is bricking it as she’s done zero training. Youngest to Ballet then off to a charity even I help organise, put up the SM Gazebo and work the bar 12-3. Then watch to footy, then over to Pompey to my Boxing club for 5:30 for a BBQ then back to charity event for the evening bands and get on it. Think the F1 qually is up the swanny!

We spent a couple of days up in Norfolk at the end of the week, stayed at a superb pub called the Fritton Arms on the Somerleyton estate. Lovely place and amazingly good food. Highly recommended. Back now and it’s nice that the weekend is only just starting.

Morning,
Getting fed up with the heat with this boot on. Lost muscle on my leg and the lining appears to have 'thinned' over the five weeks wearing it so I now can't find a decent resting spot that doesn't involve the hard plastic digging into my ankle or heel after a short period of time. Glad there's only three weeks left. If I get told it needs to be on longer I won't be responsible for my actions.
I'd have taken a picture of his door out of my window to show that there was no damage just in case he "finds some later". I wouldn't worry too much, there are some right pilchards about that are more bluster than action.
Think its a day for a picnic as I really can't be bothered with the Wendyball fuss, so will be out in the Moors somewhere after the GP qualifying. Perhaps that makes me unpatriotic but I stopped watching millionaires rolling around on the floor after the slightest touch years ago.

The wife actually took photo of back of his car, it was only one of those M series X5 things, the really quick one, thinking about it, if he did decide to make up some damage, the only place my door could strike is the door protector strip, so any other would be easily proved discountable...
