Morning all, running around in full headless chicken mode this morning getting ready as I'm flying out to Astana, Kazakhstan overnight to finish the job I started earlier in the year.

Made some custom rope fittings yesterday.

morning all - have almost back-2-back meeting. how do we ever get anything done when its like this

Hey guys...this is a moan

I love cars, but currently its got to the stage where I wish I didn't own any. The past month has been one problem after another and it's wearing me thin. It has also got to the stage where a luxury (i don't use my cars for daily transport, as I live in central london) has become my biggest stress and by far my biggest cost outside of must-haves.

The MX5 has been a nightmare. I know it is an old car, but they have a great rep as being reliable. The power steering sprung a huge leak. Week later the belts snapped and it over heated. Week later caliper started acting up.

This week, the car is for some reason sitting higher on one side than the other, for reasons unknown. Also, it is pulling itself off its anti-roll bar drop links possibly because of the car siting higher.

The Vantage also has a couple of issues, not as bad, touch wood. But of course more expensive.

I know we all have moments when our favourite hobby/passion becomes a bit of an annoying weight on the shoulders. I guess that everyone has been there, i have before certainly with the Masser, and no doubt in a few days (hopefully not weeks) and the bank balance significantly less in the black and more in the red, all will be well. Let's hope

Anyway moan over. Just thought i'd have a moan to people who might actually understand.

maybe time to replace the MX5 but come on Ross chin-up - as you said we've all been their and in the end when all is right, those issues seem like just a bump in the road to the smile you will get.
hope its not too expensive and works out for you...

Morning all. Didn't set my alarm last night so slept in. Woke up at 9.20 which was quite nice.

Got into the office and found that the cleaner have filed into a big pile everything I had got sorted for my VAT return today. (so I had a more at the office manager).
Footy tonight which should be good. Can't beat playing under floodlights!

Takes me back to the days when I was good!

Morning all, no sign of rain on the Cali / Arizona border, todays Heli flight through the canyon was awesome and the company were real stars. Jamie still not using his foot but they carried on as if there was no issue, lifted him in and out and even carried him to the picnic area - awesome as the pilot kept saying.

Will keep an eye on the boys foot, fingers crossed its just bruised

Morning/afternoon all.

Just got in from seeing a client. British Gas's energy prices are becoming ridiculous. Their renewal for their electricity is an increase of over 15%.
I know they said that household bills were going up by that amount, I never thought their commercial customers were as well.
Added to their sh!te customer service, I think they will be losing a fair amount of their market share.

Might attempt the gym tonight......
