Morning, all. Sun is shining, weather is sweet. Need to wash the car today, poor thing's filthy and I'm going for what I hope will be a good thrash with Supercars of Essex tomorrow, starting from The Barge in Battlesbridge at 1030. Not really noticed the club before so I'm interested to see what it's all about. Ryan's Run would have been tremendous to take part in but afternoon commitments stymied it for me. Shame.

Have a good day, everyone.

Morning all, need to go a throw a bucket of water over the Spyder as I am taking it for a blast up North on Monday and can't have it looking dirty.

I thought it could have been Simon as it sounded like his going down the straight but couldn't see if it was him because his helmet was in the way (no sexual comments please)

Landed at 06:15 this morning from Qatar on the red eye. Beach day yesterday so wasn't all bad! I slept for a couple of hours when I got home but managed to take the Maser out for a good blast. Have a great weekend all!

Cheers chaps - I bought the Spyder the week before we went to Modena for the Centenary. It's done 15k, and had a new clutch at 12k.

Been out today in it (well Susie has - I've not driven it today) to a Maserati Club lunch of 15 people, where I've discovered that a fellow member lives in the very next village, and we'd never seen each other driving around. Small world eh? Also discovered some very interesting things about what went on behind the scenes in Modena with the Centenary.

Picked up a Freelander this afternoon to take to the Alps and leave there. Not a bad little car - we've had a couple in the past, and this one is a HSE spec TD4. Even has the heated front screen, which is nice in deep winter :)
