Morning all - nearly there, one & half days until the weekend. I don't want to wish my life away but roll on Saturday.

Another lovely day here, still no heating on since the spring which is unheard of for October here. I swear Nicola is cold blooded, she hates to be cold but even she has not reached for the heating controls yet, incredible!

My other well used excuse is I haven't got round to having the boiler serviced yet, it might not be safe to turn it on just in case. Safety first in my household and luckily our heating engineer is so unreliable, I can spin this one for months. I saw him in May and he was going to pop back to following week - I'm still waiting!

No there is a danger it may come on one morning when not really needed such is the swing and fluctuation in temperature in your average UK summer. I'm a northerner and unless there is ice forming on the INSIDE of the window the heating ain't coming on!
