Sports Maserati Tax Disc Replacement

It's difficult trying to get *nice* keyrings that can be branded, as most of the promotional merchandise companies tend to offer fairly cheap or tacky looking ones, but this isn't too bad.

The costs shown however are based on a minimum order qty of 300 units, printed 1 colour. From experience I suspect that a 3 colour or full colour print could push the cost up over £6+ ea.

"Cease and desist from putting the Maserati trident on ...er...your Maserati"? Can see the problem if it was used as the SM logo on the site etc, but if it just says Maserati 100 years and also adds the Sportsmaserati.com address I really can't see an issue....

Talking to a nice officer today and he tells me, currently it's a £100 fine for not displaying a valid tax disc, he also tells me that the Police computer at the moment, has no records of whether a car is taxed..!! It does identify vehicles that have for example had a cheque bounce for payment of the disc and it has MOT, Insurance, but nothing on tax..!! DVLA are now in a bit of a panic as they have to get all the records ready to put on the computer, before Autumn time when the disc will no longer be required..!!

Blimey. That sounds like another "government IT fiasco" story waiting to happen. DVLA seem to have enough on their plate coping with moving everything back from the regional centres they closed down. Can't be a happy place to be ....

I can't imagine why they would decide to dispense with the tax disc and not have this in place already, some senior civil servant having a no win brainwave to try and command his salary..!!

Didn't get the chance to post the designs today - it's been manic - but hope to do so tomorrow.
