Sports Maserati Tax Disc Replacement

When the old tax disc goes out of the window in the autumn, how about a similar sized forum logo to replace it!
They must be a couple of graphic designers on here who could come up with some ideas

To give you some idea this is the AROC 50th logo....I thought it looked pretty good!

Think I like the idea of having a screen without anything in it once the tax disc goes but that Alfa one is very nice and can see that a Maserati one like it would look good to.

I've actually got a Maserati 1956 Monaco Gran Prix commemorative key fob that would lend nice inspiration for something like this. I'll post a pic...

I'd argue in favour of sooner rather than later; we are in the centenary year after all, what better time to do it? I already have other membership badges as windscreen stickers (I put them top of the windscreen not where the tax disc goes at present) and they are very handy when attending events.

Run my own business for the past 20 years (yikes has it really been that long)

Started as print based design but that has died a death so been doing websites for most of it for the past 5 years.......yourself????

I had a branding and marketing agency in Yorkshire (between Leeds and Huddersfield) for 13 years before winding it down last August. It got to the stage where the overheads were so big that we had to turn over a ridiculous amount of money each month just to break even, and I spent most of my time commuting between Wales and Leeds and dealing with staff and management issues, rather than doing what I enjoy.

I'm now working on my own, from home, with a small network of freelance designers, web developers and PR people. I managed to retain a handful of the old clients and am much much happier these days. I do anything from campaign planning and strategy, through to delivering campaigns through all media - print, online, above the line, social media management, mobile apps - anything that helps brands to grow basically.

Just realised that this has turned in to a completely different thread altogether so I'll shut up now!
