I remember these guys featured on a TV doc maybe a year or so ago, an Asian husband and wife team - quite blingy from memory. Tragic if you do have a car there that were selling for you, let's hope not.

On the other side, look out for a raft of super cars coming through the auctions sometime soon

No, you are thinking of Amari Supercars in Preston with the Asian husband and wife team. Different company.

I was there a couple of weeks ago collecting a car for one of my clients, doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Blimey I was on my way up there later today to look at a car, thanks for the info.

I can see your open mouth now if you'd got there and found it boarded up

Lucky escape, if it'd been in a few days and you'd left a deposit you could have lost it

Never was a credit card more useful

Am very lucky, it's amazing how quickly this happened all seemed well only a few days ago.

It always does , years ago a friend paid £1500 cash for a sofa , 3 days later they went under and he lost the lot , the sales staff hadn't got a clue until they came to work to find the shop locked up

It should be illegal , they all know they're going under so it's a matter of clawing what they can in for the last few weeks

I had the opposite, a dealer and classic car restorer who was restoring my Fiat Dino turned up at my house with the car on a trailer, and all it's parts boxed up. I had been paying him monthly so never lost out. He just brought it back before his assets were seized.

Years ago a mate bought a car, took delivery and they shortly went bust. He'd traded in his Escort Mk4 and had to pay installments, but for some reason the direct debit agreement never reached his bank.
