Me thinks you would have all sorts of droning issues , just awaiting the bends to turn up so I can cut and scollop them to suit . Probably won't arrive until Monday .

How are you going to scollop them then out of interest? Have you got a fancy machine? I'm going to cheat and use box section ;P

What's the point in leaving the boxes on if you are doing that, just dispense with them..!!

Will those boxes not just end up being a sound box unless filled with sound deadening material?

I reckon you'll need a pipe going to the other exit as well, otherwise the cross sectional area of 1 tailpipe might become a gas flow restriction. However, looking good so far!

OK guys a few questions answered ,I will be joining the other exit point up with the pipe but I need to do that work as I don't have the tools at home to scallop the holes and pipe.once all welding in I will pack the box back up with all the sound deadening material to prevent any droning .

Hodroyd, yes I could dispense with the box completely but that would have involved hanging brackets being made and a lot of eyeing up and probably tacking it up on the car before welding to get the alignment right, and all on the floor as I don't have a ramp. This way, a couple of axle stands, unbolt the originals, bolt the modified ones on and Bobs your uncle.
