I thought I'd give it a while as it's annoying that I only realised I knew about it after checking my answer. Last year, Octane had a major article about one of Jay Leno's cars... powered by a turbine engine. Other similarly powered cars were mentioned and this was when I discovered that there had been a turbine engined F1... the aforementioned Lotus.

Correct. It was a development of the Lotus Indy 500 car, and entered in various 1971 F1 races.

Hopefully a quick one. My friends has just finished building the structure of the new Mersey Gateway bridge, so a question about big bridges...

Where are the tallest and the longest bridges in Europe?

It's never easy is it? ;) Highest is in Switzerland as of June this year. Don't know the longest or the tallest though.
