I think i have been on the longest bridge in europe sometime around 2000/2001. That is if it hasnt been superseeded since. If it hasnt i think its the one in Lisbon.

That is still the longest, yes. Many people think it's the Danish one, but that's actually two bridges with a little island in the middle.

Very kind.

Okidoki - only 5 British athletes have held Olympic, Commonwealth, European & World titles at the same time. Names & events please. Bonus points for naming which three also held the World record too.

Edit: Going to re-check the "at the same time" bit.

OK, well, I'm done, then, other than naming a handful of middle-distance runners, which would just be guessing randomly.

And then one would possibly be a velodrome event, which would have a good chance for a WR too. Chris Hoy with more torque in his legs than a Veyron would be the potential QI claxon answer for that.

All sterling suggestions but I haven't been precise enough when defining the question.
I meant to imply athletics in terms of track & field events & competitors.

As far as I can recall Redgrave & Pinsent didn't compete in Europeans. Phew. You might be right about Chris Hoy though.
Will have to check - but please have a bonus point regardless as my Cousin's ex used to deliver his post

So, to confirm, we're looking for track & field athletes. But not shot put nor 110M hurdles.
