Its funny how this worked out Robert. I asked Dicky Grace if he knew of any MCV's that could be available, he advised no and that they come up rarely. At that point I set my sights on a 911 and then this car comes up which without this great forum, I never would have stumbled across. A few days later and I probably would have been committed to something else. Luck was smiling on me.

Nothing 'special', family car.... but its a rare spec so I may have to travel for it! Only been looking a couple of weeks but of the three I've found, two have been in Scotland! (the other, 134 miles away, wasnt tidy enough when I went to see it)

I live west of Aberdeen but work in Dyce. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help, I would be pleased to do so. We have bought 2 cars in 4 months and both have been from London!

I think the expression is "sods law" :)

If I do look at it, whats the best way of getting there? I was looking for flights, but it seems Edinburgh is the closest...then what, a train? Its still an outside chance, but if something else doesnt come up in the next couple of weeks and its still for sale, I'll head up and take a look. Not driving there though it its 9 hours! LOL!

Where are you Woody, 9hrs sounds like London? You can fly London - Aberdeen direct but not sure about other cities. Where is the car located?

What car is it woody? Anything special?.
No, not really....a Merc, as a family car, but the spec i want is pretty rare. Nothing remotely interesing either (C63 etc) as its mainly for my wife and she has zero interest in anything special! LOL!

I think it's a Zonda..!!!
It would be, if only they could fit an iCandy Cherry in the boot!

OK, cheers. I did look for flights but from London they were only indirect. I'll look again....Luton would be great :) Will definitely PM you if I come up. Thanks!

Found the time (and weather!) on the weekend to give her a scrub up and take some better photos. I should have vacuumed the carpets too, oh well, just ignore the grot. :(

I found an old post on the forum detailing what was standard/optional on the MCV and was pleasantly surprised to see she had some nice options from new to add to the already special feel of the car:

Xenon headlights with wash device
Carbon kit (door sill trims, door panel trim and steering wheel in blue carbon)
Rear parking sensors
Fire extinguisher
Electronic rear view mirror
Stitching colour upon request

I think the car is stunning and I cannot stop looking at her, the last thing I wanted was another black car (and dark alloys) but I am glad now I looked past both. The pics really dont show off just how gorgeous the car is in the flesh. Thanks again to Miles for starting this thread and starting me off on the path to MCV ownership :D

You're welcome Simon :D

The carbon pack does finish things off nicely doesn't it. :D
Interestingly you have a leather headlining, whereas mine is a metallic weave fabric.
What's the logo in the drivers floor mat?
Don't see the Auditorium badges? Thought all the MCV's came with the auditorium 200 as standard? No worries if not mind, as it's cr*p anyway! :D

Anyway your car looks sublime. It will be some considerable time before the smile goes..... Hope you get some favourable weather to get out and enjoy your new purchase. :D

The carbon pack really does finish it off especially the door sills. The front floor mat is from the selling dealer with their logo. I think I need another set of car mats to protect the red Maserati mats though, mats protecting mats seems daft but its probably worth it as the red ones are likely difficult to replace.

No Auditorium Miles. I soon worked out that the stereo was useless especially on the motorway driving north from London, plenty of tyre roar to drown it out. The spec list I found on this forum posted possibly by Adam? shows Auditorium as an option. No mention of the leather headlining as either standard or option so who knows on that one, its a nice to have I guess.

Cheers
Simon
