Cool Dicky is going too. I didn't realise.

I wasn't able to commit early on for obvious business reasons, but am dipping in and out of the events. Me and a good friend, Jason, are meeting you all in Troyes tomorrow evening, then on to stay with a friend in Zug, Switzerland and then Modena Wednesday to meet Marios and a load more followers. I gather you're all there on Thursday?? Couple of nights in Modena for us before Turin & Strasbourg and home.

Good to know mate, see you tomorrow! Met up with most of the dirty despicable at the Premier Inn and had a nice chat over a beer. Starting tomorrow off with an impromptu sound-off in the ferry car deck. Which could be a giggle. Then a leisurely run down to Troyes. Or maybe not. Let the good times roll!

Just arrived at Troyes (pronounced Twa; yes I know!) sat in the bar having a sharpener. Having followed Hoyroyd and his steam driven prat Nav into an industrial estate car park in the middle of f*cking nowhere, I need a beer! A good days driving and more to come. Starting to look like great trip. Roll on the Alps!

UPDATE:

All made it to the first stop in Hotel Mecure, Troyes.

A couple of splutterers but all fixed in situ.

Chilling with a few beers in the hotel bar, then off out to a decent restaurant at 7.30.

We had a good run down, more motorway than we would like but tomorrow we head off on the A&B roads to Mullhouse.

Classic SportsMaserati banter as you would expect....Bennys wife Sue, swinging for him at several opportunities.

More updates tomorrow unless I get revved up tonight and do some one eye surfing in bed.

Concur with Matt, a very enjoyable run down with no significant drama; should help us all relax and destress a lot! Cars all look and sound fantastic and the older stuff performed wonderfully.

Best performance is close; either the radios for pure amusement or Rob's prat-nav for sending the convoy seperate ways within the first 10 miles! Having found our way back on track, the then trialling party spent the next 100 miles or so persuing the leaders at a 'healthy' speed only to find on the first stop the lead party were actually behind us!!!!
