Hi Lofty....I'm not slating them that's for sure.......I think the V8 will stay around 50k as well for some time with the odd one with high miles taking a hit....How did you get on with the V6S......Bueatifully balanced car I thought.
It was a great car and I still miss it, it will be coming up 3 years since I took delivery. It got a bit too much attention with it being one of the first coupes but I coped
I loved the noise and had the loud button pressed almost all the time, although I know it annoys some with it being a bit manufactured but I think that is true of many cars today. The fit and finish was good (apart from the larger than usual panel gaps) and I never had a single problem, the first service was £199 which was a nice shock. It was pretty easy to get the tail out on the V6 so the early V8 could be a handful I'd imagine. The V8S convertible hit the £40k mark and bounced back slightly to where prices are now, they haven't moved for a good while, as you say it's a lot of car for the money, I still think the V6S is the sweet spot though, great looks, enough power for the road, reasonable running costs and better residuals, having said that a used low mileage V8 won't cost the earth now they have taken the hit, buy from a Jag dealer and get 2 years warranty, what's not to like
