I remember doing this years ago with a 911, had a problem with the wiring loom, despite age of car, the Porsche guys in the USA got a recall and then we chased Porsche UK to do the same, whole rear wiring loom replaced plus they had it for two days........cost around £1200

I love this forum. Just contacted my main dealer in GVA about the campaign and they have confirmed the car is in the campaign and parts are on order. Sensational stuff. Thanks!

Thanks guys, Mine too. I've just booked it into HR Owen - who are kindly collecting it from my door at no cost to me.

Formal recalls should be done via VOSA so you can check by vehicle here: http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp?tx=VOSA

Not all that deserve to be recalls always end up as such - the Range Rover one I was involved in a while ago didn't end up as a formal recall, but as a "service advisory update" (but paid for by RR) - I assume due to some legal niceties re liability...if in doubt, you can call VOSA and speak to an engineer.

Thanks for the info...if I don't receive one ill check anyway
That is correct, there is even a form in with the letter that they would like sent back if you have sold the vehicle, so they can try and contact the present owner...
my letter was sent by Maserati GB Ltd.

Same here. I returned from a break in Norfolk this afternoon to find a letter from Maserati. HR Owen are picking my QP up on Monday week.

That must have made you feel pretty special, Robert. Honoured, almost. Will they allow you the privilege of buying more than one, do you think?
