He's a glutton for punishment, that's for sure!

Phil, well done on shifting the GTS. I think you've been looking at moving that on for a while. Regardless of what Maserati has in the showrooms now, I'm surprised you've not been tempted with a Strad or a late-model GTS. Martin's GT Sport is a lovely thing and ridiculous value.
That's what I had, a 14 plate GT Sport. Sold the black GTS MC Shift ages ago mate.

Wow, I didn't realise you'd had so many Masers. Did you change them every 6 months?
I'm pretty sure replied on one of my first posts 6 years ago, and thought you were in a GT then. I know you were selling in 2018, as I was considering it myself.

Hopefully, when we see the final appearance of the new GT and it definitely comes with a decent ICE you maybe tempted back.

In the mean time, I can't think of many other cars that are a more attractive proposition than the lotus right now!
No, some I had for a few years and I had three at one point. Will post them all in this thread when I have time and inclination.

One was Ewan's QP. Bought it for £15k, had it for a year and sold for £15k... Those are the cars I like!

Quite understand that. I've had an ex-demo and looked at new, then pre-reg, but the numbers defeated my man-maths and I bought the F-car. The same thing really, nothing in a Trident I was tempted by and could afford.

Good luck with the Lotus. It does look lovely.

I'd say I'd be up for a Llandow trip, but after the cost of the last one I did I'm not so sure.
PMSL! Was talking about that tonight, the fear I had when I saw you lose Power steering mid chicane at Llandow!!!! Couldn't have picked a worse time to fail!!!! Well held that Man!!! Yuo drove it a few miles down the road with arms like Geoff Capes and then called the dealer. Ih sir you are three miles within a track you must have been out on track when it failed sir...

They actually looked on these forums at that time... And found you on the list. Laughable and actually desperate.

One thing that sticks in my mind is when Maserati ran a Marketing survey and invited me to comment (paid me for an hour of my time) and the face of the question master was a picture. I honestly think I nearly reduced the staff who were behind the one-way glass to a breakdown in the way I launched into the brand and what they now represented and their arrogance to owners of older marques. It was a joy for me and I literally ranted for 30 minutes and the bonus was I got paid for the privilege!
